I received a BFA in Graphic Design from the Kansas City Art Institute, but have been drawing, painting, and building all my life. I first started in 3d animation in 1990 and have been producing interactive media since 1994. Having worked for well over two decades in the industry, I have enjoyed being a part of winning several awards by producing graphics for companies such as Kellogg’s, Colgate, Gatorade, Coors, Ford, Sprint, NFL, MLB, Hallmark, Gillette, DuPont, Fox, and NASCAR. Now, I work for a global agency, VML, as a senior motion graphics designer. Through my years, I have worked from very small to very large agencies, produced graphics from start to finish on my own and working with large teams, and managed small design teams. Staying on top of the the latest trends in design and technology is crucial in the advertising industry. The constantly changing environment is what I enjoy most about my job…no two projects are the same. I have a constant thirst for knowledge and finding new techniques I can use in my work. Occasionally, in my free time, you can find me building furniture, playing with electronics, crocheting, climbing something, or just learning something new.
